Bike Washer

Job Summary: We're hiring a Bike washer for the summer at our North Bend Shop.. This is an outdoor, support role at the shop. Help out doing routine maintenance on bikes, basic shop clean up and other tasks as needed. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role at the heart of our rental operation. Your job is to make sure every bike that goes out is clean, safe, and ready to ride. No formal bike mechanic experience required. If you're thorough, dependable, and take pride in doing things right, we'll teach you what you need to know.
The Line Experience is on a mission to bring mountain and gravel biking to everyone, from first-time riders to seasoned cyclists. Based in North Bend, WA at the doorstep of the Pacific Northwest's most celebrated trail systems, we provide bike rentals, skills coaching, gear, and trail expertise to make biking accessible for all.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and safety-check rental bikes before and after each ride, following a consistent checklist
Wash and clean bikes thoroughly between rentals, keeping the fleet looking and performing
Identify and clearly document any maintenance needs, reporting them to the Rental Manager and service Team
Flag bikes that are not safe to rent and remove them from rotation until serviced
Keep the maintenance and wash area clean, organized, and well-supplied
Basic shop tasks as required – cleaning, light weeding, etc
Support the Rental Team during busy periods as needed
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and a consistent, methodical approach to tasks
Reliable and punctual, someone the team can count on to keep the fleet moving
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Available weekends and holidays throughout the summer
Bike knowledge or mechanical aptitude is a plus, but not required

Hourly – $18/hr. Part-time, weekends required.
