Bike Rentals

Gravel & Mountain Bike Rentals and Demos

You don’t have to buy a bike to enjoy all the great PNW trails!

We know it’s hard to have a bike for every type of terrain, so we have you covered with quality bikes and gear. Helmets and personalized set up are included with every rental, along with friendly advice on the best trails for your ride. Check out our Ride Guide to start thinking about where your ride will take you. We recommend the Trailforks app for route details.

We provide equipment, skills practice areas, and trail knowledge - including respectful recreation - to help every rider Make Good Decisions ® on and off the bike.

*Renters must have a bike rack or tailgate pad to transport offsite in their own vehicle.

The ABCs of renting from The Line:

  • A: Arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can get your bike fitted to you.

  • B: Before you ride, you’ll need to sign a waiver in your confirmation email.

  • C: Check the weather and bring layers.

Please select a location from the drop down menu
to view rental bike availability for your selected date(s).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We understand plans change and things happen. You may cancel anytime up to 24 hours before the start of your rental and receive a full refund of your deposit. Any cancellation within 24 hours of your rental will result in a forfeiture of the rental deposit.

  • Follow local land manager rules on e-bike usage. Those with an ADA placard can use an e-bike at Raging River. E-Bikes are also currently allowed on Olallie and Tennant mountain bike trails, as well as the Snoqualmie Valley Trail.

  • Mountain biking happens all year in all weather, we recommend you come prepared for the weather by dressing in the appropriate gear and bringing any additional necessary items to make you comfortable if the weather changes during your ride.

Rentals will be cancelled for extreme weather that is a risk to the riders' health or safety, such as thunder/lightning, high winds, or poor air quality. Wind gusts of over 25 mph or AQI of 125 or above will cause rentals for the day to be cancelled.

An Air Quality Index (AQI) of 110 or above at 9 am, or at any point in the day thereafter, will cause The Line to close the Tennant and Snoqualmie Point Park (Raging River) trailhead locations for the health/safety of the rental staff. If trailhead locations are closed due to poor air quality, any rentals for those locations will also be cancelled for the remainder of the day. Bicycles can still be rented out of the North Bend Store, as long as the AQI stays below 125.

You will be contacted by text message, then phone call, if your rental is cancelled due to weather/safety concerns. If rescheduling is not an option, we will offer a full refund of the deposit for the cancelled rentals.

    • Helmet required - We provide free helmets with all rentals, but you may bring your own

    • Closed toed athletic or bike shoes required - No open-toed shoes or sandals

    • Water bottle or hydration pack recommended - Depending on the distance of your ride

    • Snacks and lunch recommended - Depending on the duration of your rental

    • Bike gloves are recommended - We offer a variety of options for sale at trailhead locations as well as at the main North Bend Store.

  • We offer early pickup and late drop off options (for an additional $20) for those who want to keep a rental bicycle overnight so you can ride even more! Early pickups can be done within the last hour of business hours, while late drop offs must be done within the first hour of opening. Otherwise, you will be charged for an additional 2 hour rental.

  • Yes! Please give us a call during business hours and we can make your reservation over the phone and offer a discount for longer duration rentals.

  • E-bike riders must be 16 years or older, any e-bike rider that is 16 or 17 years old must be accompanied by a rider over the age of 18 who is responsible for the group.

  • You’re welcome to take our rental bikes with you. To transport a rental bicycle you must either have a tray rack bicycle rack or a tailgate pad. We offer a 2-bike hitch rack for rent, as well as tailgate pads to borrow.
