WASHINGTON'S PREMIER BIKE EXPERIENCE
More Than a Bike Shop.
We are in North Bend because the riding is right here. Everything else follows from that.
The Line exists to get more people on bikes and out on the trail. Not the right kind of people. All of them.
Bring your questions. All of them. Whether you are renting your first mountain bike or picking up a Transition after years of research, the conversation starts the same way: where do you want to ride, and how can we get you there?
We do not hold back. Trail conditions, route recommendations, gear advice, honest opinions on which bike actually fits your riding style. It is all free, because the goal has never been a single transaction. It is a relationship that grows with the rider.
The name comes from how you read terrain. The easy line, the hard line, the technical line, the flow line. You pick the path that fits where you are. That is what we help every rider do, from first rental to regular.
Find Your Line.

Ride it where you will actually ride it.
The fastest way to know if a bike is right for you is not a spec sheet. It is twenty minutes on real terrain.
The Line is an authorized Transition Demo Center. We have the Transition demo fleet at HQ and at Snoqualmie Point Park. Book a demo slot, we will set you up on the right model for your riding, and you take it out on the actual trail. Then you decide.
That is how most of our best bikes find their owners.
Book a demoNOW OPEN IN BELLEVUE
The Line is on the Eastrail.
Gravel bikes, e-gravel bikes, and the same people who run the North Bend shop. Right on the trail.
The shop riders have been driving out to is now closer. Our Bellevue rental container is open on the Eastrail at 11646 SE 5th St, Bellevue.
The Bellevue fleet is built for the Eastrail corridor: the Niner Air 9 hardtail mountain bike and the Orbea Kemen e-gravel bike, with Woom kids and youth bikes coming soon. You are not just nearby the trail. You are on it. Lock your car, pick up a bike, and roll.
This is not a different shop. It is The Line, on the Eastrail. Same fit process, same booking system, same people behind it.
If you are after mountain bikes or demos, those are at HQ in North Bend and at Snoqualmie Point. We will point you in the right direction.
HOW TO FIND US
11646 SE 5th St, Bellevue WA 98005. On the Eastrail. If you are taking the 2 Line, head south on the trail from Wilburton Station and cross the NE 8th bridge.
SERVICE + SUSPENSION LAB
We work on bikes the way riders actually use them.
Full-service maintenance. A Suspension Lab that does the work most shops do not. And it starts with a free look.
Bring your bike in. We will start with a free safety check and a free suspension check. No appointment needed for the check. It tells us what is actually going on before we recommend anything.
From there, the service range covers what the bike needs. Basic tune-ups, brake bleeds, drivetrain service, wheel builds, full overhauls. We do not oversell. If your bike is fine, we will tell you.
THE SUSPENSION LAB
The Suspension Lab is where we separate from most shops. Our SRAM certified technicians do custom suspension tuning, fork and shock rebuilds, and suspension coaching so you know how to use your setup once it is dialed.
This is not a pressure-wash-and-ride-it-out service. It is the kind of work that takes knowing what you are doing, with the right tools and a working knowledge of how the bike is supposed to feel on the trail.
Suspension coaching is part of what we offer because a new tune means nothing if the rider does not know what to adjust mid-ride.
SRAM CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS
Factory-trained, authorized for warranty work. Not a generic claim. A specific credential.
FREE SAFETY + SUSPENSION CHECKS
Walk in with your bike and we will look it over, no appointment needed. We tell you what we find.
CUSTOM BUILDS
Building up a new bike from a frame, spec swapping, or starting from scratch. We do that at HQ in North Bend.
ARETE CAFE + THE FRIDAY SERIES
Finish the ride. Stay a while.
Coffee, local beer, a patio with Mt. Si right in front of you, and a Friday night that has become a regular thing.
The Arete cafe is inside the North Bend shop. Coffee and local beer. Snacks. The kind of place where you end up staying longer than you planned.
Out back is the Back of The Line patio. It faces Mt. Si. On a clear day there is nothing between you and the mountain. Sit down, decompress, and talk about the ride.

THE FRIDAY SERIES - BIKES, BEER + BBQ
A standing Friday night ride. The shop. The patio. Live music.
Arete presents the Friday Series. Every Friday all summer, rides depart from the North Bend shop in the evening. Finish with BBQ from Rent's Due BBQ and cold drinks on the Back of The Line patio, with live music to close it out and Mt. Si in front of you.
No cover. No RSVP required. Bring a chair. Show up with your bike or just show up.
2026 dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26. July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

THE BRANDS
Bikes worth riding. Brands worth owning.
Every brand we carry earns its spot. We ride them, we demo them on real trails, and we order any model, any size, any spec. You are not limited to what is on the floor.

Fleet and availability vary by location. Not every bike ships every week. Come in or reach out and we will tell you exactly what is on the floor right now.

COMMUNITY + MISSION
The more people who ride, the better.
We believe biking is for everyone. That is not a tagline. It is how we actually run the shop.
Mountain biking, gravel biking, recreational riding. All of it should be open to all of it. Equipment expense, uncertainty about trails, not knowing where to start: these are the things that stop people, not lack of interest. We built The Line to remove those barriers.
The riders who show up here are friends, neighbors, first-timers, regulars, racers, coaches, and people who borrowed a friend's bike once and have been thinking about it ever since. We take all of them the same way: listen first, match them to the right bike and the right trail, and get them out there with the confidence to have a good time.
WE GIVE BACK TO THE TRAILS
For every rental, we donate $1 to the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. They build and maintain the trails. That work has to keep going.
We also partner with Fluidride for skills instruction, so riders who want to get better have a clear path forward.
