HAIL THE EVOLUTION!
The latest iteration of this legendary machine features an incredibly refined dw-Link suspension that stitches togethe the pedaling response and agility of the Trail 429 with the battle-hardened, EWS-proven, big terrain suspension and handling chops of the Firebird.
DO EVERYTHING, AND DO IT BETTER
The new Switchblade has a slacker head angle, steeper seat angle, increased reach and a longer wheelbase than its predecessor. Size-specific chainstays are tucked in and responsive but grow incrementally longer on larger frames.
This translates to added stability at warp speeds while still maintaining the snap and pop that is ingrained in the Switchblade's DNA.
FROM TRAIL TO PARK
The new Switchblade is light enough to pedal all day, but stout enough to run a Fox 38 without any worries. You can spin this rig up into the jagged high places, and it is burly enough, composed enough, planted enough and smooth enough to smash every line all the way back down, laughing the whole way.
Performance That Keeps Up
Live Valve Neo sets itself apart with its ability to default to Firm mode, a capability made possible by Neo’s rapid communication speed. This means you get the benefits of a firmer suspension setting in more situations, enhancing performance whether you’re climbing, traversing, or descending. The system continuously reads the trail and adapts in real-time, so your Pivot bike handles each section with precision and confidence.
Live Valve Neo Introduces Firm Mode Adjust giving the rider the ability to adjust the feel of the closed (Firm) position. This new adjustability allows you to fine-tune the firmness to suit your terrain and preferences. Whether you prefer a nearly locked out setup for racing when the Live Valve is closed, a more forgiving ride over technical roots – or anything in between. Live Valve Neo gives you the ability to adjust the system for your specific needs.
Designed specifically for Trail and Gravity applications, Live Valve Neo is engineered to handle the most demanding conditions. The front bump/pitch sensor, mounted on the fork lower, reads the terrain in real-time and communicates with the shock to ensure seamless transitions between Open and Firm modes. Even at the highest speeds in UCI DH and EDR races, Live Valve Neo acts fast enough to keep you in control, allowing you to push your limits without hesitation. .
