SALSA CYCLES AT THE LINE

Go further than you planned.

Salsa builds bikes for the kind of ride that turns into a bigger ride. Gravel, e-gravel, and adventure bikes, designed for the trail that keeps going. We rent them, sell them, and service them.

WHY WE CARRY SALSA

Adventure by Bike.

Salsa Cycles is headquartered in Minnesota. They build gravel bikes and adventure bikes for riders who want to see what is past the pavement.

Their tagline, Adventure by Bike, is a useful description of their philosophy. Salsa believes everyone should have access to the kind of ride that stays with you. Not just the performance riders. Not just the people who already own the right gear. Everyone.

That lines up with how we think about bikes at The Line.

Salsa's gravel lineup covers a wide range: from the Journeyer, an approachable flat-bar bike for riders stepping off pavement for the first time, to the Cutthroat, a drop-bar mountain bike with a carbon frame and Class 5 vibration reduction system for long days in the saddle on serious terrain. The Tributary e-gravel line adds motor assist for riders who want to push their range further.

We carry Salsa because the Eastrail corridor is exactly the terrain these bikes are built for. Gravel and e-gravel rentals at our Bellevue container, and the full Salsa lineup available to order at HQ.

THE SALSA LINEUP

eGravel, gravel, and adventure bikes.

eGravel

Tributary Apex Eagle SUS eGravel

An electric gravel bike built for riding further into the backcountry. Front suspension fork, Bosch mid-drive motor, and an aluminum frame. The SUS model handles rougher gravel and unpaved routes with more confidence than a rigid setup. For riders who want to access longer or more technical terrain than a road bike would allow, and who want the motor to make the climbing feel like a reasonable choice rather than a reason to turn around.

Tributary GRX 600 eGravel

Aluminum frame and carbon fork, built around an e-gravel geometry that stays stable and comfortable even at higher speeds on mixed road surfaces. The GRX 600 is the more road-leaning Tributary option, ideal for Eastrail riding, mixed surface routes, and riders who want a relaxed, efficient position over longer distances. Shimano GRX groupset handles the mechanical side cleanly.

Cutthroat C Apex Eagle AXS

A drop-bar mountain bike. That is the most accurate description. The Cutthroat uses a carbon frame with Salsa’s Class 5 VRS (vibration reduction system) to smooth out the big miles, and SRAM Apex Eagle AXS for wireless electronic shifting. This is a bike for riders planning serious gravel routes: long days, variable terrain, loaded or unloaded. If you are ready for the ride that takes all day, the Cutthroat is worth the conversation.

Stormchaser Single Speed

Gritty, simple, and designed to thrive in muddy or technical conditions where a complex drivetrain becomes a liability. No gears to worry about. Extra tire clearance for loose terrain. The alloy frame handles impact and the carbon fork reduces the road feedback that builds up over a long ride. The Stormchaser is for the rider who knows exactly what they want and does not need the machine to do more than it has to.

Journeyer Flat Bar Deore 700c

The entry point to the Salsa lineup and one of the most useful bikes for a rider moving from pavement toward gravel. Flat-bar setup gives you confident control on rough surfaces and with a loaded rack. The aluminum frame and Shimano Deore groupset keep the price honest. For commuters stepping up to adventure riding, road cyclists curious about unpaved terrain, or anyone who wants a capable, versatile bike at a reasonable price.

ADVENTURE BY BIKE

The ride that keeps going.

Salsa's founding belief is that adventure on a bike is available to everyone, not just experienced cyclists, not just people who already know the terrain. The ride that changes your perspective. The trail that keeps going. The day that turns out longer than you expected, in the best possible way.

That philosophy fits how we run The Line. We are here to get more people on bikes and out on the trail, at whatever level makes sense for them right now.

If you want to try gravel riding before committing to a bike, that is what the rental fleet is for. If you already know gravel is your thing and you want to talk through which Salsa model fits the riding you have in mind, come in and ask.
