Mountain bikes and youth bikes right at the trailhead. Reserve online and someone will be there to fit you.

TENNANT TRAILHEAD PARK

The right place to try mountain biking.

Tennant Trailhead Park sits along the Mountains to Sound Greenway just off I-90 at Exit 31. The Line's rental container is right at the trailhead: hardtail and full-suspension mountain bikes, plus youth bikes, with a crew member there to size you up and point you at the right trails.

The park was built for progression. Three miles of trails running from green to double black, with flow trails, jumps, and technical features. All trails begin and end in the same parking lot. You can try two or three different bikes in an afternoon without losing track of where you started.

No previous experience required. No car full of gear required either. Just show up.

WHAT MAKES TENNANT DIFFERENT

Built for riders who are just getting started. Interesting enough for riders who are not.

The progression trail system at Tennant is one of the best setups in the Snoqualmie Valley for learning mountain biking. Green trails introduce the basics. Blue and black trails add features and technical challenge. The double-black option is there for riders who want to push it. All of them start and end in the same lot, which means you can reset easily and try something different.

It is also where a lot of parents bring kids on mountain bikes for the first time. The trails are manageable, the lot is walkable, and the trailhead kiosk means you do not have to own or transport any gear to make it happen.

BRINGING A FRIEND TO THE SPORT?
For riders introducing a friend to the sport: this is the right recommendation. Get them on a bike that fits and is set up properly, not an old bike pulled out of a garage. There is a meaningful difference, and they will feel it immediately.
THE PLACE AND ITS NAME

The trail names here carry history.

Tennant Trailhead Park honors the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe. The trails are named in the Lushootseed language, the language of the Snoqualmie people, and a kiosk at the trailhead includes a pronunciation guide and tribal history.

"The Tennant Trailhead Park is about honoring our heritage. By naming the trails in Lushootseed, we connect both our community and visitors with our tribe's history and culture."
Chairman Bob de Los Angeles, Snoqualmie Indian Tribe

The park is part of the Mountains to Sound Greenway National Scenic Byway, connecting over 100,000 acres of public land between the Cascades and Puget Sound. The trails and features were developed through community input and local and county park partnerships.

The Line is a tenant of this land and we encourage every rider to take a moment at the trailhead kiosk before heading out.

WHAT WE HAVE AT TENNANT

Hardtails, full-suspension, and youth bikes.

The rental container at Tennant carries the bikes that fit the trail system: a range of hardtails and full-suspension mountain bikes, plus youth bikes for younger riders. Helmets included.

Hardtail Mountain Bikes

Capable and responsive. A great choice for newer riders and for experienced riders who want a lighter, more playful bike on the flow trails.

Full-Suspension Mountain Bikes

For riders ready to push into more technical terrain. The full-suspension absorbs the features and keeps the wheels tracking. If you have never ridden one, Tennant is a good place to find out what the difference feels like.

Youth Bikes

Kids bikes sized for younger riders. We will make sure the fit is right before they head out. Helmets included.
You can try more than one bike in a day. Since all the trails start and end in the same lot, it is easy to return one bike and pick up a different one. Ask us when you check in.
WHERE YOU WILL RIDE

Three miles. Green to double black. All from the same parking lot.

Tennant's trail system is compact and well-designed for progression. Three miles of trail cover the full range of mountain bike difficulty, with features that build on each other.

Green trails
Introduction terrain. Smooth, manageable, good for first-time riders and kids getting comfortable on mountain bikes.
Blue trails
Intermediate terrain with flow sections, moderate features, and enough challenge to keep experienced riders interested.
Black and double-black trails
Technical terrain for riders looking for real challenge. Not required. The green and blue options are genuinely good.
The park is actively maintained and the trails ride well through most of the season. For current conditions and trail details, check the Trailforks app before you head out.
