Suspension, actually dialed
Factory settings are almost always off. Each rider and each bike has a unique balance of weight, speed, and stance that no chart can account for. In the Lab we tune your bike to you, then teach you how it all works so you can keep it there. The result is a bike perfectly set for your riding, and the knowledge to adjust it as needed.
We are factory trained on RockShox and Fox, and we also handle Ohlins, DVO, and other specialty suspension. Our high end rebuilds are done in house, in partnership with Edgar Bikes, a trusted name in the Pacific Northwest.

You can do a decent static setup in a shop, but suspension is about dynamic movement and force, and you cannot truly tune that standing still. So we ride. Our purpose built course at the Raging River Trail System pairs static and dynamic sag testing with slow motion video, so you feel a perfect setup for your style and learn to keep it there.
The full session runs two hours, so come ready to ride. It works for any discipline of mountain bike, from downhill and enduro to trail, cross country, and downcountry. We can take up to four bikes and riders, and each additional bike or rider is half price. You leave with your settings recorded in our TuneCode software, so you can always get back to that baseline.

We start with your bike at rest, setting sag, pressures, and baseline rebound and compression for your weight and gear.
Then we ride the course. Dynamic sag testing shows how the bike actually moves under you at speed, not just on the stand.
We film your wheels while you ride and watch it back together, so you can see the setup working and understand every change we make.
We teach you how the bits work and why they matter, as geeky or as simple as you like, then record your settings so you can return to them anytime.
Full suspension bikes only. Swing by the shop with your bike the week before so we can make sure it is in good working order. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy, and since we tune outdoors, cold or heavy rain can make a setup hard to dial, so we may reschedule if it is too wet. Best for one to four riders with one to four bikes.

Factory trained, and then some
We are factory trained on the two systems most riders run, and we handle a wide range of specialty suspension beyond them. If you need something special, ask. Our high end rebuilds and Lab services are done in house in partnership with Edgar Bikes.
