SPOOKY WORK PARTY with Evergreen MTB, Evo Seattle, and The Line

  • The Line Bike Experience 1130 E North Bend Way 98045 United States (map)

Costume Dig Day - meet at The Line Trailhead - lower lot at Raging River!

Join your Evergreen Ambassadors, Evo Seattle, and The Line for a Halloween themed work party at Raging River!

Come help out at Evergreen MTB’s spooktacular dig day Saturday October 26th @ Raging River!

We'll have pipin’ hot lunch, raffle prizes and A BONUS POINTS COSTUME CONTEST all brought to you by EVOSeattle ready for you after a wee bit of drain diggin’!

THE DETAILS:

Location: Meet Before 9am at The Line's Bike Kiosk @ 37580 Winery Rd, Snoqualmie WA (Lower lot by Raging River Stage Forest). Don’t miss the Tricks & Treats After Party at The Back of The Line — the backyard of our main bike shop in North Bend.

The Line's Trailhead Kiosk: Shout out to The Line for providing a cozy location to hang before and after the dig (and a bike wash station if things get muddy)!

Looking for a Demo bike to ride after the day of digging? The Line has you lined up there, too! Head HERE and use the code DIGDAYDEMO for 20% off rentals.

Note: Rental pick-up will be 8:30am at the trailhead, not 10am when we normally open. We’ll make the adjustment manually.

Start time: 9am. Be ready to jump in one of the crew leaders' vehicles by 9am. Bring a bike if you want to ride back down to your vehicle after the work party (or to snag a free shuttle). To get to the worksite we will be driving up logging roads. We ask that people prepare to carpool up. If you have a rig that can help shuttle volunteers and bikes to the worksite *and* you are willing to drive on primitive roads, please bring it. It would be a huge help for our builders, as they can't always fit many folks in their vehicles.

Stop time: 1pmBack down to the Kiosk and BBQING by 1pm

What to bring:

  • Snack and water for on the trail.

  • Work boots or tough hiking boots (sturdy footwear)

  • Weather appropriate clothing.

  • Safety glasses and work gloves (we'll have extra if you need some).

What we'll be doing:

  • Learning how to build new singletrack trail using an iterative process.

  • Building new schweeeet singletrack!

Crew Leader: Heather DeChoudens, heatherdec@evergreenmtb.org; Jarett Grimm, jarettgrimm@gmail.com ; Miranda Smith, MirandaSmith0694@gmail.com
