FOUR LOCATIONS ACROSS THE SNOQUALMIE VALLEY + THE EASTRAIL

No bike? No problem. We have yours at the trailhead.

Reserve online. Pick up at the trail. Helmets and a proper fit, included.

The whole fleet is here: hardtail and full-suspension mountain bikes, e-bikes, gravel, e-gravel, kids bikes, and the Transition demo fleet. Whatever you want to ride and wherever you want to ride it, there is a bike matched to that trail and to you.

You do not need to own a bike to get out on the best trails in the Cascades. That is kind of the point.

Book your bike online, show up at the trailhead, and someone will be there to size you up and get you set. Rides from $40.

HOW IT WORKS

Reserve it. Show up. Ride it.

The bike is already at the trailhead. You just have to book it.

Step 1 - Reserve online
Go to rentals.theline.bike and pick your location, your bike, and your date. Takes a few minutes. Weekends fill up, so book ahead if you can.
Step 2 - Pick up at the trail
No driving to a shop. No strapping bikes to a car rack. Our rental containers are right at the trailhead. Check in, and someone from our crew will size the bike to you, dial in the fit, and point you at the right trails for how you want to ride.
Step 3 - Ride
Helmets are included with every rental. We will tell you what to bring and where to go. Then you go ride.
FORGET SOMETHING?
Our trailhead kiosks carry RideSavers: tire pumps, shock pumps, tubes, sealant, chain lube, gloves, water bottles, and snacks. If your riding buddy forgot something, we probably have it.
THE FLEET

Whatever terrain you are riding, we have the bike for it.

Try a bike here. If it is the one, we can make that happen.

The rental fleet covers the full range across all four locations. Pick your location when you book and we will have the right bike ready.

Full-Suspension Mountain Bikes

Built for singletrack. Whether it is your first time on a mountain bike or you want to see how a quality full-suspension rides before you buy one, this is the setup. At North Bend HQ, Snoqualmie Point Park, and Tennant Trailhead.

Hardtail Mountain Bikes

A capable, versatile choice for flow trails, gravel, and mixed terrain. Great for progression riders and families getting comfortable on dirt. At North Bend HQ, Tennant Trailhead, and Bellevue Eastrail.

Gravel Bikes - Flat Bar and Drop Bar

For the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, the Palouse to Cascades Trail, and the Eastrail. Flat bar if you prefer an upright, comfortable position; drop bar if you want to cover more ground. At North Bend HQ and Bellevue Eastrail.

E-Bikes

Electric assist means you go farther and enjoy more of what you came for. E-MTB for the mountain trails, e-gravel for the Eastrail corridor and the valley trails. [verify e-bike availability per location with Alex.] E-bike rules vary by trail; see the FAQ below for where e-bikes are allowed.

WHERE TO RIDE

Four locations. Pick the trail that fits your ride.

Each location has its own fleet, matched to the trails it sits on. Book at the location that matches where you want to ride.

NORTH BEND HQ - THE FULL BASECAMP
The Line's North Bend shop is where the full fleet lives. Hardtail and full-suspension MTB, e-bikes, gravel, e-gravel, and youth bikes. The Transition Demo Center is here, and so is the service team, the Suspension Lab, and the Arete cafe. Easy access to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and the Palouse to Cascades Trail, plus fast access to the local trail network. The gravel rides start right from the shop.
1130 E North Bend Way, North Bend WA. Hours: [Summer Hours - verify with Alex].

SNOQUALMIE POINT PARK - WORLD-CLASS MTB
This is the mountain bike location. Full-suspension MTB, youth bikes, and the Transition demo fleet on real PNW singletrack. Trails here run blue to black: real climbing, technical terrain, and the machine-built flow trail Poppin Tops that locals and visitors both come back for. One of a small number of official Transition Demo Centers in the country. If you want to demo a Transition on the terrain it was built for, this is the place to do it.
37580 Winery Rd, Snoqualmie WA. E-bike rule: ADA placard holders only at this location.

TENNANT TRAILHEAD - PROGRESSION + FAMILIES
Tennant is where you go to learn the sport, try something new, or take the whole family out. Three miles of progression trails that run from green to double black, with flow, jumps, and technical features. All trails start and finish in the same parking lot, so you can demo a few different bikes in one afternoon. Hardtail and full-suspension MTB, plus youth bikes. A good crew introduction to mountain biking, and a fun session for riders who have been at it for years.
12201 W Ribary Way, North Bend WA (I-90 Exit 31). E-bike rule: e-bikes are permitted at Tennant.

BELLEVUE EASTRAIL - NOW OPEN - NO CAR REQUIRED
The Line's newest rental container is right on the Eastrail at 11646 SE 5th St, Bellevue. Light rail accessible: take the 2 Line to Wilburton Station, head south on the trail, cross the NE 8th bridge, and we are on your left by Mutual Materials. Gravel bikes and e-gravel bikes for riding the Eastrail corridor. The 42-mile trail runs flat from Renton through Bellevue toward Woodinville wine country, and the e-gravel makes the longer day easy. No car needed. Walk-ups welcome.

TRANSITION DEMO CENTER

Ride it where you will actually ride it. Then decide.

The fastest way to know if a bike is right for you is not a spec sheet.

The Line is one of a small number of official Transition Demo Centers in the country. We have the full Transition demo fleet at North Bend HQ and at Snoqualmie Point Park, the trails at Raging River are right there, and you can book a demo slot and ride the actual bike on the actual terrain before you commit to anything.

Transition is a Bellingham, WA brand and the bikes are built for Pacific Northwest trails. The Sentinel, the Spire, the Scout, the Spur, the Smuggler: the whole mountain bike and e-MTB lineup. You pick the model you are thinking about, we set it up for you, and you go take it where it was designed to go.

If you fall in love on the first ride, one hundred percent of your demo fee applies toward the purchase. And if you want to buy, we offer the same manufacturer pricing as Transition, plus we handle the build, the fit, and the setup.

That is how most of the best bikes on these trails found their owners.

100% OF YOUR DEMO TOWARD PURCHASE
If you ride it and want to buy it, every dollar you spent on the demo goes toward the bike.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few things before you book.

Helmets and a proper fit are included with every rental. Our crew will tell you what trails are right for your ride and what to expect out there. We provide the equipment, the trail knowledge, and the guidance to help every rider Make Good Decisions(R) on and off the bike.

Check out our Ride Guide to start thinking about where your ride will take you. We also recommend the Trailforks app for current trail details, ratings, and conditions.

What is the cancellation policy?
Plans change. Cancel up to 24 hours before your rental and we will refund your deposit in full. Cancel within 24 hours and the deposit is forfeited. If your plans shift, reschedule anytime with no fees.
Where are e-bikes allowed?
E-bike rules follow each trail land manager policies. Current summary: Raging River / Snoqualmie Point Park: ADA placard holders only. Tennant Trailhead: e-bikes permitted. Snoqualmie Valley Trail: e-bikes permitted. Olallie mountain bike trails: e-bikes permitted. Bellevue Eastrail: multi-use trail, e-bikes fine. Policies can change with the trails. If you are not sure about a specific route, ask us when you book.
What happens if the weather is bad or the air quality is poor?
Mountain biking runs year-round in the Pacific Northwest. Come prepared for the weather, dress for it, and bring what you need if conditions change mid-ride. That said, we cancel rentals for conditions that are a real risk: thunder and lightning, wind gusts over 25 mph, or an AQI at or above 125. An AQI of 110 or above at 9am, or at any point during the day, will close our Tennant and Snoqualmie Point Park trailhead locations. If those locations close, rentals there are cancelled for the remainder of the day. The North Bend HQ store stays open as long as the AQI is under 125. If your rental is cancelled, we will reach you by text first and then phone. We will offer a reschedule or a full refund of your deposit.
What do I need to bring?
We provide the bike and the helmet. Bring: closed-toe shoes (required; no sandals or open-toed shoes), water (a bottle or a hydration pack), snacks or lunch if you are out for more than a couple of hours, and bike gloves are a good call. We carry a range at the trailhead locations and at the North Bend shop if you need a pair. You are welcome to bring your own helmet if you prefer.
Can I keep a bike overnight to ride in the evening or early morning?
Yes. Early pickup and late drop-off are available for an extra $20. Early pickup happens within the last hour of business. Late drop-off happens within the first hour of opening the next day. If you drop off outside that window, it is charged as an additional 2-hour rental. Hours vary by location and season; confirm the exact window when you book.
Can I rent a bike for more than 3 days?
If you need a bike for longer than the options listed online, reach out to us directly and we will work something out. Call us at (425) 292-9135 or email info@theline.bike. [verify extended-rental terms with Alex before publish.]
